If the assault rifle is the shop's biggest shelf, the submachine gun is its tightest and quickest: the SMG tab holds just 16 purchasable entries, the smallest weapon class in WolfTeam Legacy on Wolfory. Small does not mean forgettable. This is the class of the PI-90, the TOMMY-45 and the EMP-5 - the natural home for close range, deep magazines and fast handling. This guide walks the whole shelf: the price ladder, the seven name families, what the weapon cards actually say, and the two legacy stories hiding in them.
Where the SMGs live in the shop
The shop sorts weapons into class tabs, and this class is labeled "Submachine Gun" in English. The Turkish locale carries a funny legacy detail: the exact client string for this tab reads "Hafif Makineli Tüfek 2", stray "2" inherited from the original translation, while the sibling labels in the same locale table read "Light Machinegun / Hafif Makineli Tüfek" and "Machine Gun / Makineli Tüfek". Three similar-sounding labels, three different classes - this guide covers only the submachine gun family, the guns whose own cards describe them as submachine guns. Like every class it follows the game's long-standing item numbering: SMGs occupy the 5000 ID band, the same taxonomy our weapon classes guide explains (pistols in the 1000s, assault rifles in the 3000s, sniper rifles in the 6000s).
Sixteen entries, one Gold ladder
The tab lists exactly 16 offers: 15 bought with Gold and one bought with Wolf Coin. All fifteen Gold SMGs sit on the same ladder every Gold primary weapon shares, with no exceptions: 1,200 Gold for 1 day, 7,200 for 7 days, 24,000 for 30 days, 60,000 for 90 days, 108,000 for 180 days and 216,000 Gold for the permanent version. Our best-weapon guide explains why that flat ladder matters - family members differ by roughly one percent in damage, so what you choose inside a family is comfort and looks, not power.
The single Wolf Coin entry is the PI-90 PX: 10, 60 and 200 Wolf Coin for 1, 7 and 30 days. There is no permanent WC option anywhere in this class - if you want a permanent SMG, the Gold ladder above is the only road.
The seven name families
Sixteen entries compress into seven name families. PI-90 is the biggest with four members: the base PI-90, the PI-90 UAE with its Pride-troop flavor, and the silver and pixel editions PI-90 SL and PI-90 PX. EMP-5 counts three (EMP-5 CS, EMP-5 GD and the MC edition), TOMMY-45 also three (the base gun plus the /75R and /100R big-magazine editions), MEC-11 and UMF-45 two each (MEC-11 ST; UMF-45 PT and WT), while NMP-40 and STEN MK-2 stand alone. Learning one family teaches you its shelf neighbors, because variant names, not base models, are what change between shop rows.
What the weapon cards tell you
Fifteen of the sixteen entries carry client cards, and the cards are readable fact sheets. Weight runs from 1.59 kg on the MEC-11 pair up to 4.9 kg for the TOMMY-45 family. Magazine depth starts at 25 rounds and tops out at 100 - the TOMMY-45/100R's 100-round drum is the largest single-magazine figure any card has shown in this guide series so far, well ahead of the assault rifles' 50-round maximum. The /75R and /100R pair exists for exactly one reason: doubling the base TOMMY-45's 50 rounds per magazine.
Fire modes are almost uniformly full auto. The one exception is the UMF-45 WT, whose card lists "Auto/2 Bust" - a burst setting spelled the legacy way, the same convention the assault rifle guide described on its FANAS and XEM-8 variants. The one entry without a card is the EMP-5 CS MC edition; it is purchased and equipped like any other SMG, the card simply was not written for it.
History collectors get a corner too: the NMP-40 card claims over one million produced in World War II, the STEN MK-2 card credits England, and the TOMMY-45 card runs from European trench warfare through Vietnam. The EMP-5 cards add the counter-terrorism flavor - a low-recoil, fixed-buttplate close-range tool whose lore keeps it out of wolf paws, blaming a weakness against 9mm ammunition.
The class that Pride lore adopted
Something curious repeats across the cards: three of them mention Pride troops by name. Both UMF-45 cards say Pride troops adopted the model for short-range combat and praise its stun ability as effective "to both Human and Wolf". The PI-90 UAE card describes Pride troops using the type with a low-magnification dot site. The MEC-11 ST card claims the weapon is not in Pride use, though some members carry it personally. Whether or not you have founded a Pride yet, this is clearly the clan-flavored corner of the game's story - our Pride guide covers what clans actually do on Wolfory today.
Two legacy stories, told honestly
The cards carry two stories that no longer match the shop, and both are worth knowing. First: the TOMMY-45/75R and /100R cards still open with "You can only get this weapon from Weapon Jackpot Box" - yet today both sit openly on the normal Gold ladder, purchasable like any other SMG. The 75R card even sends you treasure hunting: its lore says magazines with 75 bullets "are discovered here and there in the underground of two temples", a nod to the Two Temple arena our map guide covers. Second: the PI-90 SL and PX cards say the silver and pixel editions are "given to the members who complete submachine gun shooting training at full course". Today they are ordinary shop entries - SL on the Gold ladder, PX on the Wolf Coin ladder - and the current training missions cover rifle, sniper and heavy weapon blocks with no SMG block at all. Training has never paid items or currency on Wolfory anyway, as our bot training guide explains; treat both card stories as legacy flavor from the game's earlier life.
Practice before you spend
There is no SMG-only room rule to build a routine around - the room rule list covers Knife, Pistol and Snipe modes plus heavy weapon limits, and none of them touch this class. The cheapest path is the standard one from our price guide: rent the 1-day version for 1,200 Gold, take it into a bot match first (free practice, zero rewards, as always) and then into real matches, and only then decide on the permanent 216,000 Gold purchase. Close-range classes reward map knowledge more than most, so pairing a new SMG with one map you know well - Arrival is the classic choice - teaches you faster than map-hopping.
Reading the shelf honestly
Two honesty notes, the same as every guide in this series. Per-shot damage numbers stay unpublished on Wolfory; the public rule is the roughly one percent spread between price tiers, and we hold the SMG shelf to it rather than quoting damage tables. And when a card claims a stun rating or a special coating, we report it as card text, not as a measured stat. Sixteen guns, one ladder, seven families - the smallest class in the shop is also the easiest to complete, if collecting is your thing.
