Every item you earn in WolfTeam Legacy comes with one of two kinds of ownership: a timed license counted in days, or a permanent one that never runs out. Both follow the same clear rules on Wolfory, and knowing those rules before you spend your earned Gold and Wolf Coin means you never lose a day you paid for. This guide walks through the full life of a duration: when the clock starts, how it grows, and what exactly happens the moment it ends.
Two kinds of ownership
The shop sells most gear in several duration tiers, and the game labels them clearly: a day count such as "7 gün" for timed copies, and "Süresiz Kullanım" (Permanent Use) for the version that never expires. Gold weapons commonly offer 1, 7, 30, 90 and 180-day terms before the permanent tier, while Wolf Coin items stay in the shorter, lower-priced tiers; our price guide compares the full ladder. Timed and permanent ownership of the same item can sit side by side in your inventory, and when both are present the game always uses your permanent copy.
The clock starts at purchase
When you buy a timed item it lands in your inventory immediately, and the timer starts at that moment — not when you first use it. The in-game purchase window says exactly that ("the purchased item will be immediately usable from your inventory") and it carries one caution worth remembering: purchased items are not refundable. Pick the duration deliberately before you confirm.
Renewals stack on your remaining time
This is the rule that saves players the most Gold: if you buy the same timed item again while your current copy is still active, the new days are added on top of the time you already hold. The purchase window tells you so in plain words ("if you already own this item, its use time increases"). For example, if your favorite rifle still shows 30 days left and you add the 7-day version, you will carry that rifle for 37 days — not 7. The server keeps one accumulated timer per item instead of several competing ones, so there is no trick arithmetic to worry about.
The timed booster products from our events guide work the same way: renewing a booster while it is active simply extends the same period.
After expiry, the next purchase starts fresh
Let a timed item lapse and nothing is owed or broken: the next time you buy it, the full duration starts from that purchase. You never pay again for days that already passed, and the gap costs you nothing extra. The server goes one step further — if you have already bought the item again, it withholds the stale "item expired" notification, so a fresh purchase is never cancelled out by an old popup.
What happens when time runs out
When a timer reaches zero, the expired copy is removed from your inventory and the game shows a duration notice ("Malzeme süresi doldu" — the item's period is over). If the item was part of your equipped loadout, the client tells you the equipped item falls back to the basic item, so you are never left without a weapon. And there is one quiet kindness: if you also own a permanent copy of the same item, that copy survives untouched — because the permanent copy keeps the item alive, the expiry notice is not even sent.
Where to check your remaining days
Your inventory shows the remaining time on timed gear ("Time Left" / "Kalan Süre", counted in days), which makes it easy to review your timers before a long session. The gift box works the same way: each gift lists the days it has left, and the game warns you when something inside is expired or close to expiring. Remember that gifts and box rewards run on their own clock — the duration of a gifted item starts when you claim it, and unclaimed gifts wait in your box for a 90-day window. Our welcome pack and Lucky Box guides cover those windows in detail.
Practical habits
Renew before expiry rather than after: stacking preserves every day you own, while a lapsed item simply restarts from zero. A glance at "Kalan Süre" after long sessions keeps your main weapon from lapsing mid-week. For the one rifle you use every day, the permanent tier is the only duration that never asks you again — the spending guide weighs the tiers in Gold terms. And treat gifts as windows, not timers: claim them while the 90 days are open, because the clock inside the gift only starts afterwards.
Durations are one of the quiet places where the earned economy shows its shape. Nothing in your inventory is rented from someone else's wallet; every day was bought with Gold and Wolf Coin you earned in matches — and the rules above make sure the days you paid for are the days you get.
