An arena with a story: Wolfory Foundry is the first map we built entirely from scratch. Every arena before it came from the classic WolfTeam game we restore and remaster; Foundry's name, layout, artwork, lighting and minimap are all our own — the first place of the Wolfory era. It is live now and arrives on your machine automatically the next time the launcher updates your client.
Where Foundry appears
Foundry is selectable in two places: the Deathmatch map list and the wolf-only Deathmatch list. It carries its own name, a dedicated minimap and matching loading and map-selection artwork, so from the room list to the loading screen you always know you are heading into the foundry. You will not find it in AI training rooms — the arena is built around real opponents, so keep your bot warm-up on Arrival and bring the results here.
Three routes, one decision
The heart of Foundry is its route structure: three connected paths run through the map, and every spawn is a short sprint away from a choice. Route discipline separates a first-session player from a regular: pick a lane, work it, and rotate only when you have information — a kill, a radio call, a teammate's death marker. Because the routes connect, the middle is always one step from either flank. Players who hold the middle with an escape route in mind die far less than players who chase depth down a single lane.
The height game: decks and ramps
Raised platforms and walkable ramps give Foundry a vertical layer that rewards patient aim. Staggered cover along the routes creates short-range brawls around every corner, but step onto a deck and the same routes open into longer sightlines. The rhythm to learn: fight close while you are among the cover, take the ramps when you want to see, and never stand still on a platform — height is powerful only while it is a surprise. Rifle players should treat the decks as their office; wolf players should treat ramps as approach angles and drop from them when the moment is right.
Read the light, learn the map
Foundry's lighting is deliberate: warm and cool zones divide the arena into areas you can name from memory after a few rounds. Use them as callouts and landmarks — "pushed past the warm side", "holding the cool platform" — and your team reads the map faster than any raw coordinate could teach. The dedicated minimap shows the three-route structure; open it early and mentally trace one lap of each route in your first match. Ten deliberate minutes of map study on new ground is worth more than hours of extra aim practice.
Wolves on Foundry
Because Foundry is also in the wolf-only Deathmatch list, transformation here is not optional — it is half the game. Connected routes and staggered cover are wolf country: short sightlines favor the chase, decks give wolves ambush height, and ramps are the fastest way to move the pressure point of a fight. In mixed rooms, human teammates should treat a friendly wolf as the opening tool: let the wolf force the corner, then trade onto the exposed targets.
Fair rules, familiar progress
None of the fundamentals change: standard Deathmatch rules apply, completed matches with fair starting teams follow the same earned Gold and GP rules as every other arena, and the usual chat commands (/progress, /matchstatus) track your session exactly as before. Foundry changes the ground, not the game — and it is waiting in your map list the next time you press START.
