Two of our own arenas just became practice grounds. Bot Deathmatch now includes Wolfory Foundry and Wolfory Mansion, so the warm-up routine you have been running on Arrival now works on both original Wolfory maps. Here is what changed, and how to turn two new bot arenas into sharper aim and calmer routes before you queue for real matches.

What arrived in this update

The bot map list grew by two names. Wolfory Foundry and Wolfory Mansion now host bot battles alongside their places in the Deathmatch and wolf-only Deathmatch lists. Mansion also received route work: the walking connections from its ramps up to the upper rooms and balconies are smoother, so vertical play no longer fights your movement. Team starting areas were redrawn at the same time — the red team now spawns inside the villa, while the blue team starts in the distant front garden.

Why this matters for your practice

Until now, bot warm-ups lived on Arrival, and both Wolfory arenas were reserved for real opponents. That gap is closed: you can learn a map's rhythm against predictable opponents first, then let a live lobby test it against unpredictable ones. Drills first, lobby second — the same order the field manual's bot training section has always recommended.

Your setup in one minute

Nothing about the setup changed. Create an AI-Deathmatch room, pick Foundry or Mansion from the map list, click AI ADD on an empty opposing slot, select EASY and press START. One reminder from the manual: training matches do not award Gold, GP, WC or goal progress. If you ever want the room's status spelled out, /matchstatus tells you whether you are in a training room or an eligible PvP match.

Practicing on Wolfory Foundry

Foundry rewards route discipline. Three connected paths run past raised platforms and staggered cover, and walkable ramps trade the close lanes for longer sightlines. Give each route a focused pass: run the same lane two or three times, note where the cover breaks your line of fire, then rotate. Next, claim a raised platform and hold it — the high ground is only yours while you can reposition when a bot flanks it. Five minutes of this teaches more than five minutes of wandering.

Practicing on Wolfory Mansion

Mansion is a two-storey villa with an open courtyard, a fountain and side routes behind high boundary walls. The new starting layout gives every round a shape: blue faces a long approach across the broad front garden, red holds the villa. Spawn red and practice interior defense — falling back between floors, guarding the fountain line. Spawn blue and practice the garden cross and the ramp choices into the upper galleries. The improved ramp connections make it worth relearning your entries, for humans and wolves alike.

A two-arena warm-up routine

Ten to fifteen minutes is enough. Split it in half. On Foundry, work rifle tracking and platform control. On Mansion, work movement and transformation: switch between human and wolf, transform with Q/G, use Shift for the second mutation and Space plus right-click for the strong attack, and run the ramp-to-gallery paths in both forms. Finish with a small goal, such as ten kills without dying twice on the same route.

Bots build the skill; live matches pay it out. When you are ready, take the routine into a real Deathmatch — even starting teams, staying until the end and playing at least sixty seconds after spawning are what make a match eligible for rewards. See you in the arena.
