Every week, new players arrive with the same questions: is WolfTeam on Steam? Is there a WolfTeam mobile version for Android or iOS? Is it a PC-only game? And which download is actually safe? This guide answers all of them for WolfTeam Legacy, the free community revival of the classic wolf-transformation shooter.
Short answer: a Windows PC game
WolfTeam Legacy runs on Windows 10 or later. That is the only platform the official download page lists, together with an internet connection, at least 4 GB of free disk space and a free account on this website. This project has no official Android or iOS version, no console version, and no Steam distribution. If a website offers you a "WolfTeam mobile APK" or a "WolfTeam Android download", it is not coming from us.
The requirements list is short because the game runs on the classic-era engine of the original wolf-transformation shooter. Our system requirements guide covers download sizes in detail; the practical summary is a roughly 1.4 GB full download handled by the launcher, and a small setup executable of about 8.5 MB.
The only official download sources
The official download page walks you through three steps. First you get the Windows launcher from the site. When you open the launcher for the first time it automatically downloads the full game, showing the progress in its window. From then on, every time you reopen it, the launcher checks for updates and only downloads what changed. Finally, you sign in with the same account you created on the website, select a server and enter the arena.
Two file routes are public: the Wolfory-Setup.exe installer and a launcher.zip archive, both served directly from this website. The project also answers to two web addresses, wolfory.com and wolfteamlegacy.com.tr, which serve the same site. One honest warning is printed on the download page itself: this early community release is currently unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may show a notice the first time you run it. That is expected for a small community project that does not pay for a code-signing certificate.
What about the WolfTeam on Steam?
Search Steam for WolfTeam in 2026 and you will find a listing called Wolfteam: Reboot. That is a separate product made by other people, and we cannot vouch for it. WolfTeam Legacy is not on Steam, is not sold anywhere, and has no official connection to any commercial WolfTeam product. The site's own terms say it plainly: Wolfory is an independent, non-commercial fan/community project with no official affiliation or endorsement. If you want to play on this server, the website downloader is the only official route.
Watch out for fake WolfTeam downloads
Because the classic game was popular, old mirror sites and fake APK pages still circulate. Three rules keep your account safe. One: download only from this website's download page. Two: never enter your game password anywhere else. Keep your account credentials private, as the terms of use state, and remember that the team never asks for your password when you report an issue. Three: remember the fair-play promise. Power is earned. Never sold. This project sells no currency, offers no paid boosts and has no login streaks, so anyone charging money for "WolfTeam Gold" is not this project.
Can my laptop run it?
If your PC runs Windows 10 and has around 4 GB of free space, you meet everything the project officially asks for. No official CPU or GPU minimums are published, so we will not invent them. The honest picture is a classic-era engine with a short requirements list, plus in-game Options for resolution, graphics quality and brightness if you want to tune performance. The free bot matches on Foundry and Mansion are a safe way to test your setup before your first live matches.
Quick recap
WolfTeam Legacy in 2026: a Windows PC game, free to play, downloaded through this website's launcher, updated automatically on every restart, played with the same account as the website. No Steam release, no mobile version, no APK, and no legitimate Gold sales. Download the launcher, claim your welcome gift, and we will see you in the arena.
