Weapons decide your fights, but your wolf decides your look. Beyond the nine weapon classes and the clothing racks, WolfTeam Legacy keeps one of its largest item families in a single theme: tattoos. The shop's tattoo shelf holds 303 purchasable records covering three positions on your wolf, 149 distinct themes, permanent options and a small set system. This guide walks the whole shelf: how the positions work, what the families are, what the cards really promise and how to buy without wasting Gold.
Three positions: back, left and right
Every tattoo name starts with Tattoo B, Tattoo L or Tattoo R. The letters are the positions: back, left and right. Legacy item cards describe a back tattoo as appearing on the wolf's back, and the server treats the three placements as separate attachment categories: your loadout carries one back tattoo, one left tattoo and one right tattoo at a time, and a second tattoo for a position you have already filled is not accepted. Tattoo choices are saved with your character's equipment presets, so your wolf keeps its ink between matches.
Do not rush to the shop: a new account already owns three permanent Dragon tattoos, one for each position — the back Dragon DR, the left Dragon DB and the right Dragon — plus the Phoenix GL set described below. The starter items guide on this blog lists the full welcome inventory. Equipped tattoos are visible on your wolf, and player presets on the live servers carry tattoos today, so this is a system you will see in matches, not a menu fossil.
The shelf at a glance
The tattoo shelf is large: 303 purchasable records (one more design, Tattoo B (Butterfly), exists in the catalog but is not displayed). 279 records are bought with Gold and 24 with Wolf Coin.
Gold prices follow the shop's familiar steps. 252 records use the standard six-step ladder: 1,200 Gold for a day, 7,200 for a week, 24,000 for a month, 60,000 for 90 days, 108,000 for 180 days and 216,000 Gold for permanent. That is the same ladder as the standard weapon shelf, so a permanent tattoo costs exactly what a permanent rifle costs. Nineteen premium records climb higher: 1,500 Gold for a day up to 270,000 Gold permanent, the same permanent ceiling as the premium pistols and the top grenade designs.
The 24 Wolf Coin records use the standard WC pattern: 10, 60 and 200 WC for 1, 7 and 30 days, with no permanent option. If an active tattoo runs low, re-buying extends on top of the remaining time — the shop's usual duration rule, covered in the item duration guide on this blog.
115 of the 303 records are new to this shop: designs the original retail catalog never listed, including the themed Skull, Raptor, Cerberus, Wing and Crocodile rows, the Softnyx trio and the flag series described below. The other records return from the original service.
One legacy curiosity: eight back-tattoo designs (Axion, Snake, Scorpion, Three Cross, Tiger, Butterfly, eagle and Beauty) also appear as single-price package records at 24,000 Gold, and each package's component list grants the same-name back tattoo for 30 days. On the standard ladder the same designs sell at every duration starting from 1,200 Gold. The packages are an old single-offer pattern that survived the catalog rebuild; the normal ladder is the sensible route.
Themes and families
149 distinct themes live on the shelf, and 67 of them exist in all three positions, so a matching full set is possible. The animal roster leads: Dragon, Phoenix, Lion, Pegasus, Tarantula, Taurus, Cerberus, Raptor, Skull, Smilodon, Triceratops, Shark, Crocodile, Rhino and Jaguar, plus designs like Wing, Axe, Anchor, Sun, Torch, Horus and Flame. Many themes have lettered relatives — DB, DP, DR and GL variants — and the GL letters have their own section below.
78 themes are back-only, and two big groups live there. First, a long country series in the old catalog's flavor: Turkey, Brazil, Argentina, England, Italy, Japan, Germany and dozens more national designs, some of them sold for Wolf Coin. Second, event and community flavors: Halloween, Valentine, the 1st Anniversary, WolfDay, Independence Day, and Pride Gold and Pride Silver for the clan-hearted (the Pride clan guide on this blog covers the clans themselves).
The newest wave fills the premium rows: a Softnyx trio in all three positions and a promo series whose names pair Flag or FB with country codes — Flag DE, FB US and so on. These nineteen records are the premium-ladder designs, and their cards keep expectations humble: legacy tattoo appearance, using the shared server tattoo balance.
The GL sets
Six theme names carry the GL suffix: Dragon, Phoenix, Lion, Pegasus, Tarantula and Taurus. Those are exactly the rare outcomes of the Tattoo Jackpot Box — the box guide on this blog lists the GL designs as the box's rarest drops. What that guide could not say is that the GL designs are also plain shop items: every GL tattoo sits on the standard Gold ladder for its position, and the shop additionally sells six dedicated GL sets, each at a single 72,000 Gold offer whose components grant the back, left and right tattoos of the theme for 30 days.
Do the arithmetic before choosing. A month of a full GL trio bought separately costs 3 x 24,000 Gold — the set's 72,000 Gold price is exactly that sum. The set's value is one click, not a discount, and a one-day trial of the trio costs only 3 x 1,200 Gold on the regular ladder.
What tattoos actually do
Two generations of item cards live side by side on this shelf, and reading them correctly saves you from myths.
The legacy performance cards: the Dragon and Phoenix families and their DR and DB relatives carry cards written for the original game, with wolf stat lines like head AP percentages, speed points and power percentages. Those numbers describe the original retail design, not today's balance. Treat them as lore.
The current cards: the balance wave is described by the authored card this shop uses across its bounded gear — LEGACY BALANCED PROGRESSION in English, DENGELİ EMEK GELİŞİMİ in Turkish. Its terms are strict: small equipment bonuses, each stat modifier capped at one raw point, higher tiers touching more distinct stats, no Gold or GP multiplier anywhere, and wolf roles keeping their bounded strengths. The starter items guide on this blog quoted the same card for your free tattoos.
The appearance-only cards: the Softnyx and flag designs state plainly that they are legacy tattoo appearance using the shared server tattoo balance — ink for identity, not power.
The game itself does not print exact tattoo numbers on a stat screen. If any source quotes a tattoo's percentages as today's mechanics, it is quoting a legacy card. The safe summary: tattoos personalize your wolf and add small, strictly bounded bonuses; nothing on this shelf multiplies your earnings or unbalances the wolf roster.
One more detail: tattoo names are not translated. The Turkish client shows the same English names, Tattoo B (Dragon) or Tattoo L (Pegasus), everywhere.
Wearing and buying
Tattoos are equipped through your equipment presets. The preset's ten power areas take exactly one item each — wolf form, back tattoo, backpack, claws, left tattoo, right tattoo, Wolf View, Medical Kit, Steam Pack and Wolf Special Ability — and the loadout guide on this blog covers that slot layout. One trap to skip: the Scratch items are not tattoos. They occupy the claw area, a separate category that sits near tattoos in the catalog but straps to a different part of the wolf.
A practical buying routine:
Open your presets first. The starter Dragon trio and the Phoenix GL set are already yours, permanent, and they already give you a matching look on all three positions.
Rent before permanent. A 1-day or 7-day tattoo tells you whether the design reads well on your wolf before you commit 216,000 or 270,000 Gold.
Watch the letters. 78 themes are back-only, so a full set is not possible for every design — check the B, L and R in the names before planning a theme.
Respect the ceilings. Gold permanence tops out at 216,000 for the standard ladder and 270,000 for the premium series; Wolf Coin designs have no permanence at all.
Test the look in a bot Deathmatch before taking it to a reward match. Bot matches pay no rewards, so nothing is at stake while you admire your wolf, and the bot training guide on this blog has the full setup.
That is the whole shelf: three positions, one tattoo each, 149 themes from Dragon to your own country's flag, one bounded bonus system and a set shortcut for the box's rarest designs. Pick a theme, wear all three positions and let the wolf carry the art into the round.
